PDMS+ERP Online Technical Seminar Held Grandly!
DATAWIN Technology's iTEC ERP Business Group, Feng Chia University's Center for Taiwan Intelligent Manufacturing System (TIMS), International Industry-Academia Alliance (FCU GLORIA), and Tunghai University's Smart Manufacturing and Innovation Operation Center jointly present the 'Manufacturing Service Innovation System Technology Seminar.'
The Real-time Predictive Maintenance System driven by the Lab for Innovative Manufacturing Servitization (LIMS), and spearheaded by the integration of Professor Zhang Yuanren's Predictive Maintenance System (PDMS) from the Aerospace Department, with DATAWIN's iTEC ERP, aims to address two major challenges:
- The predictive maintenance information detected by PDMS cannot reach the decision-making end, and machine failures are bound to impact production scheduling, leading to potential delays in delivery dates.
- Currently, the ERP system lacks integration of production machine failure information, or can only incorporate production scheduling based on fixed machine maintenance hours. This leads to an inability to manage unforeseen machine failures or extended maintenance schedules effectively.
This integrated system combines PDMS and ERP to capture real-time machine health status and predictive maintenance information from PDMS. This information is then integrated into the existing ERP system through an intermediary database or can be embedded directly into the ERP database. This integration allows the ERP system to incorporate machine predictive maintenance schedules into the production schedule for each order, ensuring accurate tracking of machine production progress and enhancing decision-making capabilities. By integrating both hardware and software aspects, the capability of virtual-physical integration is being progressively built layer by layer.
